CHi-zy Smashed Potato Bites

These vegan 'pork' potato bites are the perfect appetizer! Smashed potatoes layered with marinara, vegan cheese, and CHi Foods plant-based 'pork' make for a hearty morsel ... and so delicious, you'll want more -- still! 

Ready in 30 minutes

Serves 6-8


  • 24 oz baby potatoes
  • 3/4 cup of shredded vegan cheese
  • 1 package of @CHi Pork
  • 3/4 cup of marinara sauce
  • Avocado oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oregano

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 425 F.

Step 2 Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once the water is boiling, throw in the washed baby potatoes. Boil until soft (about 20-25 minutes).

Step 3 While the potatoes are cooking, add the CHi 'pork' to a pan on medium heat (no oil) and cook for 4 minutes. 

Step 4 Line a baking sheet and place boiled potatoes on sheet. Cut them in half and mash with a potato masher (or a greased bottom of a cup). 

Step 5 Layer tomato sauce, vegan cheese, and CHi 'pork' on smashed potatoes.

Step 6 Bake for about 10 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and oregano to taste. Enjoy!
